[THR] 70s Touring Car Legends – Championship

Starting on 2020-09-13 we will race our long awaited

[THR] 70s TCL Championship.

race weekend

Practice Races on Saturday.
Championship Races on Sunday.

Start will be at 20 UTC each day.
The championship starts at 2020-09-13 and ends at 2021-01-31.

Schedule for Saturday and Sunday:

First: a qualifying over 20 minutes
Second: a race over 20 minutes (normal starting grid)
Third: a race over 20 minutes (reversed starting grid)

There will be no restart. Start carefully!

Qualifying and race and race with reversed grid are configured as a RaceWeekend in our ServerManager.
That means, that you have to leave the Server after each Session and join it again for the directly following Session.

You can choose car and skin during the registration.

The practice race on Saturday and the championship race on Sunday will be held on THR | RACE |.
The practice sessions during the week on one of the other servers.

The server is set to 100% fuel and 75% damage.

drivers championship

We have a drivers championship and race in two classes.

Class A:

Porsche 911 RS 2.7
AMG 300 SEL 6.8 'Rote Sau'

Class B:

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA
BMW 2002
Datsun 510
Ford Escort
Mazda RX-3 GT
Renault Alpine A110

The cars are different.
To not offer the chance to chose the best car for each track, It is NOT allowed to change the cars during the championship.
The drivers are hired by a team for a season.

Update:
If you feel really uncomfortable with your car, then ONE car change during the championship is allowed.

Every racer is able to earn points in the races and therefore has the possibility to compete for position in the championship.

If a racer is not able to end the race, points will be rewarded, if 75% of the leaders lap numbers are completed.

The points for race 1 and race 2 will be added together.
Example:
Sunday Race1 = P6 = 25 points | Race2 = P2 = 33 points

This are 58 points, which are added to your drivers championship.

To take in account that not every racer is able to race on every weekend, the worst result will be deleted. So only 10 out of 11 weekends count for the championship.

champion

The TCL70s championship has two different classes.
Therefore we will crown three champions at the end of the championship.
The winner of Class A, the winner of Class B and the overall champion.
