We test three different modern cars on next Sunday. On last Sunday we used the booking mode and it was ok, but little difficult. This time we will use the normal registration. But be aware, you have to register for each car/mod:
After that we will race the 71 Nascars on Sergio Loros new Islip Speedway.
Then we will race the DRM-Mod at Sergio Loros Hockenheimring.
And in the two weeks before we start the TCL 70s and GPL championship we will race some of the modern stuff we are currently testing... Or some other combinations 😉
When I founded THR, my idea was, to race the GPL Mod on a regular basis against other simracers. THR has grown steadily since the start in December 2018. We have raced a lot of different cars on a lot of different tracks and we had interesting and exhausting races.
One of the best parts of THR is, that we race against a familiar group or racers, that the drivers in the cars around are known… Therefore we thought, that it may be a good idea, to offer more races to our community.
And on top of that, we thought that it may make sense to race more modern cars against each other.
On the two upcoming weekends we will have test races with some "modern" cars. We will race three different races on both Sundays. (10 Minutes Practice, 20 Minutes Qualifying, 20 Minutes Race) >>> with each car/Mod.
Unfortunately it is not possible to set this up as a championship in ServerManager. That means that the usual registration form can not be used.
Alternatively we will have three different sessions and all racers have to rejoin after each session. (It would help if you join voice chat…) It is planned to add a booking mode session time before each car/mod-session, which allows to choose a car and a skin. When every racers has chosen car and skin, we can jump to the practice session…
After the races, we hope to get some reactions from your site, on which cars you like, on which cars you want to race in THR.
We have a drivers championship and we use the following point system:
position
points
P1
36
P2
33
P3
30
P4
27
P5
26
P6
25
...
...
P30
1
So every racer is able to earn points in the races and therefore has the possibility to compete for position in the championship.
If a racer is not able to end the race, points will be rewarded, if 75% of the leaders lap numbers are completed.
The points for race 1 and race 2 will be added together. Example: Sunday Race1 = P6 = 25 points | Race2 = P2 = 33 points
This are 58 points, which are added to your drivers championship.
To take in account that not every racer is able to race on every weekend, the worst result will be deleted. So only 3 out of 4 weekends count for the championship.
