THR Paddock – A Living History of THR

Today marks a very special moment for me [THR pitman] and for THR.

The THR Paddock Is Open

The THR Paddock is the largest project I have ever undertaken for our community. It represents countless hours of collecting, researching, checking, correcting, designing and connecting the history that we have created together since 2018.

But the Paddock is more than the result of that work.

It is a place built to preserve the history of THR and the history of every single driver who has raced with us.

More Than Results

A race result can tell us who won, who finished and who set the fastest lap. But our shared history is much greater than a table of numbers.

It lives in close battles, unexpected victories, difficult evenings, Championship fights, Race Control decisions, personal photographs, broadcasts and the memories that remain long after the chequered flag.

Every driver has contributed something to this history. Some have won Championships. Some have fought for a single position deep in the field. Some joined us for one event, while others have shared hundreds of races with the community.

All of them belong in the story of THR.

The Paddock has been created to make sure those stories are not lost.

A Living History of THR

Years of information that once existed across separate result files, Championship exports, videos, images, documents and personal memories are now connected in one archive.

Visitors can travel through our Championships race by race, explore season calendars and standings, revisit individual events, discover cars and circuits, compare records and follow the development of drivers across the years.

Race reports and season reports bring the data back to life by identifying the stories behind the results. Detailed analyses reveal battles, performances and developments that might otherwise have disappeared inside old timing files.

Each driver also has a personal place within the archive. Driver pages preserve individual careers, results, milestones and statistics. Through the protected Driver Login, members can add their own profile, race images, onboard broadcasts and post-race interviews to the events in which they participated.

The result is not a finished museum. It is a living archive that will continue to grow with every race we organise.

The Story Behind the Paddock

To help our community understand what lies behind the Paddock, why it was created and how much work has gone into preserving our shared history, I have written a dedicated article.

It explains the origins of the project, the enormous amount of research and manual work behind it, and the ideas that turned thousands of separate pieces of information into one connected archive.

I warmly encourage every member of our community to read it:

Why Is This THR Paddock Special?

Built for the Community

Creating the THR Paddock has been a long and deeply personal journey.

The further I went into our history, the clearer it became how much we have experienced together. Familiar names appeared in old results. Forgotten battles returned through lap data. Championships that once existed only as files became connected stories again.

This project is my way of preserving all of that.

It is for the drivers who have been with THR from the beginning.

It is for those who joined us along the way.

It is for those racing with us today and for those who will discover THR in the future.

Most importantly, it is a tribute to the people who turned individual races into a community with a history worth remembering.

Welcome to the Paddock

I hope you will read the story behind the project, explore the archive, rediscover races you had forgotten and perhaps find moments from your own THR journey that still mean something to you.

The THR Paddock belongs to everyone who has helped create this history.

Every race adds another chapter.

Every driver leaves a mark.

And every lap has a story.

Your THR pitman says: Welcome to the THR Paddock.
