F1 1975 at Montreal - Race Weekend 6/6

She was not able to win yesteday, but she dominted the championship.

In the last race we had some new starters in the field, who put their stamp on the race.

Sam Carpenter won his first THR race directly.
Fred Bawden has already raced at THR a few times and finished the race in 3rd place.

Maddie Shepherd, was unable to win yesterday's race, but secured the THR F1 Championship title after a dominant season.

margar finished on P4 which let him finish the season on Position 2.

pitman secured 3rd place in the championship after a difficult race in which he finished just behind his direct rivals.

Valentin wins the race but Emil the Championship!

What a fantastic race!
A worthy conclusion for our AC GTL championship.

Emil, Philip and Valentin all three still had a chance for the title and fought the whole race for the victory.

In the end Valentin won the race, but Emil crossed the line in second place to win his first THR title!
Philip finished the race in third place which secured his second place in the championship.

Many thanks to the three of you for a strong season.

But thanks also to all the other participants who also showed great races.

And I had some minutes to test it with my THR Lotus 49.

Wow, what a great track.
It is simply amazing:

• the different surfaces
• the bumps
• the elevation changes
• the blind corners
• in general the flow
• the thousands of spectators
• the look and feel of a vintage track
• etc., etc...

It feels great to have this track back after so many years.
We will race the track in our upcoming GPL championship, which starts in a few weeks.

And by the way, it felt great to get back into my Lotus 😉

Instead of the postponed races, THR offers two races with the Skoda 130 RS.

Further details can be found here:
Skoda at Tocancipa and Oschersleben.

Some drivers reached out to me, to ask if we can postpone these races:
2021-06-27 > AC GTL at Suzuka
2021-07-11 > AC GTL at Montreal

The reason for the question is the round of 16 and the final of the EURO on the same days.
I have to admit that I didn't have the EURO on screen when planning our championships, but as a soccer fan, I can understand that very well.

We discussed the situation in THR´s Orga group and decided to postpone both races.

Instead of the championship races we offer fun races in the Skoda 130 RS.

After some testing we will publish the tracks in the next two days.
