Our schedule is full until mid-February. Until then we will alternate between the TCL and GPL championships on Saturdays and Sundays.
But because we really want to drive Bazza's new ACL GTR Mod, we will do this on Friday evenings for the next weeks.
To start this new adventure, the community has chosen the famous Riverside International Raceway in California.
We will start with a Qualifying of 20 minutes leading to a Race of 40 minutes. Keep in mind, that the fuel consumption is set to 200%, which makes a pit stop necessary.
The narrow track and the high curbs penalized every mistake immediately. Only Mac did not allow herself to be distracted by this and was able to win both races again.
23 daring drivers competed in the TCL races in Rouen.
The track is narrow and curvy and does not offer much space for overtaking maneuvers.
In Race 1 Nik Likar and Doenerfan fought each other for almost the entire race length.
But then there was a little touch. Nik's car was barely drivable after that and Doenerfan waited for his opponent gentlemanlike not to profit from the situation. In the end both lost some valuable points in the championship. Nevertheless the duel will remain in the spectators' memories.
Last weekend, THR held the third weekend of the 70s TCL championship.
We could watch hard fights for positions and many spectacular accidents. Fortunately there was only fender bender damage and nobody was seriously injured.
Reason > Sergio released a track update 6 weeks ago.
Solution > From now on the track file (KN5) is on our AC server and there will be a checksum check when you join our server. If you have the wrong version installed, you have to download the version from here (https://sellfy.com/f3classictracks/p/ylih/). Delete your track folder, install the track again and try to join practice serer one.
2. We had problems with the starting grid:
Reason > There are two starting grids available. A very narrow historical one and a wider league one. For todays race there was no check which starting grid everyone uses. So every AC client used his own starting grid.
Solution > From now on the the starting grid file (KN5) is on our AC server and there will be a checksum check when you join our server. If you have the wrong version installed, you will not be able to join the server. Copy the following file:
There are 32 pitboxes in Monaco and at the moment we have 30 slots available. So, don´t wait to long to register your slot.
But keep in mind that you block your chosen spots. If you are not able to race, please don´t register.
Within the championship I have configured an "event" with Q20, R20 and R20 with reversed grid.
An event means, that you don´t have to leave and rejoin the server.
If everything works as it should, we can organize the further race weekends the same way.
If something does not work during our practice races on Saturday, I can set up a "race weekend" within the Championship for Sunday. Leave and rejoin between sessions will be necessary then, but it may work better than the "event"…
